I've walked on top of so many dead people...

It's been a wonderful three days! On Saturday I saw the Tower of London, along with all of the crown jewels, and the graves/beheading sites of Anne Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey, and Catherine of Aragon, as well as the Town Bridge from the very top, and the London Bridge experience, which was this scary... I'm not sure how to explain it, but Jack the Ripper was my tour guide. Actually. Sunday was Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, getting very very lost of the wrong side of the river, tate modern museum, and the millennium foot bridge at night (the one they blew up in Harry Potter). On Monday, I saw Saint Paul's Cathedral (amazing), Westminster Abbey (even more amazing!), and Windsor Castle (wow). I've seen and walked on the graves of pretty much every important dead person ever- kind of yucky. I also read a chapter of my favourite Jane Austen book in front of Jane Austen's tomb in poet's corner. Every time I think I've seen the most beautiful site in the world, I turn around and see another! I will be sad to leave London tomorrow morning, but excited for the next adventure!

Charles II (?) was very superstitious, and so when someone told him that Britain would fall if the ravens ever left the Tower of London, it became a law that there has to be at least six ravens kept there at all times.

      Haha sadly I did not, but now that song is going to be stuck in my head all night... at least until I go see Wicked that is!

      The theatre was wonderful!! Wicked was a great story, the singing was the best I've ever heard, and I really enjoyed all of the beautiful costumes! Thanks for asking!

      Hi Adam,

      I didn't see the helicopter crash, as I was on my way to Gloucester at the time, but I did hear about it afterwards. It is very sad.

      Haha I absolutely did! I was humming the song the whole way across! However I also thought about it burning down. The bridge used to be made only of wood, with houses and shops actually on top of it the whole way down. This made it a serious fire hazard and it burned down completely at least three times- in 1212, 1633, and 1666( The Great Fire of London)- before they thought to build it out of stone instead of wood!       The bridge is about 370 meters (1,214 ft). It looks very long when you are on it, and very pretty!
